The people behind Do Good
Rachel DuBois

I started Do Good Design when I figured out what I really wanted to do with my life.
It took longer than I’d hoped (I’m 32), especially when I was desperate a few years ago as a web manager at Sprint, making lots of money, but just not feeling I was making a difference.
Do Good came together when I read Finding Your Perfect Work by John and Sarah Edwards. The book helped me figure out what I’m passionate about and good at, and also how to make it work in real life.
I boil it down to 2 rules: 1) Do what you love and 2) Help others.
I lived in 12 cities in the U.S. before I came to Scotland four years ago. Now I live in a cosy fishing village on the Scottish islands of Orkney.
I like to think that each move has taken me a step closer to the good life.
Most importantly, I’m finally doing what I love, working with people whose dreams I get to help make come true.
